Inspired by HER, presented by the BeaYOUtiful Foundation, is a FREE city-wide workshop series open to female and non-binary identifying youth ages 9-13 that focuses on building self-love, self-worth and confidence.
The event features three rotating workshops that attendees move through, each speaker highlighting a diverse range of topics including body image, leadership, mental wellness and tools for building resiliency. Participants will take part in open floor discussions, variations of artistic expression, a dance class, media literacy activities and leadership-inspired sessions.
Each attendee is paired with a Soul Sister for the day, an empowering mentor to connect with while building new friendships.

Cooking Up Confidence!
Christal is the founder of Your Bald Bestie™ — a mentorship platform supporting women navigating alopecia with honesty, community, and real-world guidance. Through her Unapologetically Bare Mentorship Program and monthly support groups, Christal helps women process grief, rebuild confidence, and redefine beauty on their own terms.
In this fun, hands-on workshop, participants create their own “Confidence Recipes” with ingredients like courage, kind self-talk, and a sprinkle of “I can do hard things.” They’ll design recipe cards they can use anytime, anywhere!
Louder Than Fear!
Clara is a dancer, mentor, instructor, and adjudicator who is passionate about helping young dancers build confidence both on and off the stage. Clara is the co-owner of VERTEX VIBE, an intimate dance workshop designed to create a supportive space where dancers can reconnect with why they love to dance.
This movement-based workshop will guide participants in learning a fun dance choreography. They’ll practice how to be loud beyond their voices, and how to be bold in who they are. After the empowering dance choreography is complete, participants will join a mindfulness gathering through affirmations!
Reflect, Connect, & Set Intentions
Jenna has spent over 15 years helping people grow in their careers, especially women who want to feel confident and reach their goals. Currently a Human Resources Director with QE Home, Jenna continues to teach people how to use their strengths to succeed, encouraging others to believe in themselves and celebrate their unique talents.
This workshop is rooted in self-love and encourages participants to dream for the stars! Through reflection activities, they’ll build a tool-kit that can be used to wind down and further connect to themselves and their goals. The power of journaling will support participants in setting the tone for how they can move forward with their dreams.
Keynote Speaker
Tanya is a leadership coach, speaker, and longtime champion for brave humans doing big things. For nearly two decades, she has helped leaders, entrepreneurs, and changemakers quiet the voice of self-doubt and trust themselves more deeply. Tanya is known for her work on the Imposter Complex and for helping people stop shrinking, own their brilliance, and take up space with purpose.
Setting the tone for the conference, Tanya will bring her experience in empowerment to inspire participants on how true leadership starts the moment you decide to fully be yourself. Guiding the participants to tap into their bravery and unravel the unique traits that make everyone in the room a leader in their own special way.

Vicky Wang is a live portrait artist and singer-songwriter whose work radiates joy, creativity, and human connection. At live events and special occasions, she offers a unique experience by drawing line art portraits of guests in her signature style of fun, flowing continuous lines—capturing the energy and individuality of each person. Her portraits are more than keepsakes—they are moments of connection, celebration, and self-reflection that empower people to see themselves in a new light.
As a musician performing under the name Earlybird, Vicky brings the same warmth and honesty into her music. Her soulful, indie-inspired sound blends playfulness, vulnerability, and hope.
Through both her art and music, Vicky creates space for joy, reflection, and authentic connection—and encourages others to embrace the beauty in their own stories.

Clara Eaton Ribeiro is a professional dancer, aerialist, and mentor with over 10 years of experience helping people connect to their confidence through movement. She has performed and taught all over the world, from Canada to over 34 countries internationally training in many styles of movement.
Clara holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Dance from Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University) and is certified through top organizations like Acrobatic Arts and the Professional Adjudicators Alliance.
Today, Clara is the co-owner of VERTEX VIBE, an empowering dance and mindset workshop that helps dancers across Canada, and runs a 1:1 mentorship program focused on helping young people strengthen their confidence, personal growth, and authentic self-expression. Clara believes dance is a tool for everyone — and she is passionate about helping young girls discover that movement can be a powerful way to express themselves, find their voice, and build inner strength.

Stephanie Chinn is the Indigo, Barnes & Noble, and Amazon best-selling author and illustrator of her debut book Here Sister, Let Me Help You Up: Messages of Sisterhood, Self-Care, and Body Love. She is an artist, retreat host, workshop facilitator, and therapeutic arts practitioner whose work centers around reminding women and girls of their inherent worth in a world that often attempts to diminish it. Stephanie recently self-published a guided coloring book, The Art of Women Taking Up Space, and encourages women to lean deeper into self-expression as a healing modality. She has partnered with organizations such as Adobe and the Geena Davis Institute, and has spoken at major conferences focused on women’s mental health, including She Recovers, where she spoke alongside Elizabeth Gilbert, author of Eat, Pray, Love. Stephanie was also featured on Elizabeth Gilbert’s Letters from Love.
